TitanCommerce: a complete online store and admin panel that the business owns, with no monthly platform fee and no cut of each sale.
TLDR
Most small brands rent their store. Shopify, Wix and Square charge every month, take a share of sales, and sell the features a growing store needs as paid apps. TitanCommerce is the store we build instead: an editorial storefront, a full admin panel, and the offers, payments and operations that usually take five or six apps, all in one codebase the owner keeps. No monthly platform fee, and no share of each sale goes to a platform.
It is not tied to one country or one kind of store. Currency, taxes, payments and delivery are set up for wherever the brand sells. The demo is set up as an Indian fashion and lifestyle brand, which shows how far local setup goes.
The demo below is live. Shop it, check out with a test payment, then open the admin and see the order arrive.
The problem with renting a store
Shopify charges $29 to $299 a month, and a store that pays through any gateway other than Shopify Payments also pays Shopify 0.6% to 2% of every order, on top of the gateway's own fee. In countries where Shopify Payments is not offered, such as India, that is every order. Reviews, loyalty points, upsells, bundles, abandoned cart emails and local needs like cash on delivery or tax invoices are each an app with its own monthly bill.
None of that ever ends, and none of it is yours. The theme, the data model and the checkout belong to the platform. Leave, and you rebuild.
We wanted a store a brand pays for once and keeps.
The storefront
An editorial theme with a mega menu, category tiles, tabbed product rails, quick add, colour swatches and a review wall. Product pages show sizes and colours with per-colour photos, a size guide, stock levels, delivery dates for the shopper's PIN code, and the offers that apply before the shopper reaches the cart.
Search suggests as you type, and the catalogue filters by size, colour, price and stock. Wishlists work for guests and carry over at sign-in. Recently viewed, buy again and back in stock alerts bring shoppers back.
Offers without apps
Every promotion a D2C brand runs is built in and set up from the admin, with no code:
- Free delivery over a cart value, with a progress bar in the cart
- A free gift that adds itself to the cart over a threshold
- Buy X get Y, bundles that share stock with single items, and gift wrap
- First order and prepaid discounts, coupon codes listed in the cart
- Flash sales with countdowns, member prices and quantity tiers
- Loyalty points, referral links and abandoned cart emails
Any kind of store
The demo sells clothing, skincare, homeware, electronics and books from one catalogue, because the same store handles very different products:
- Digital products delivered by email, with no shipping step
- Pre-orders with a dispatch date, and personalised items like engraving
- Quantity tiers and customer group prices for wholesale and members
- Bundles and kits that share stock with the single items
- Sizes, colours, weights and volumes as variants, each with its own photos
Set up for where you sell
Regions, currencies, tax rates and shipping zones are set in the admin, and we connect the payment gateway and delivery partners each market uses. The same store can sell in dollars with US sales tax, in euros with VAT, or in two currencies across the Gulf.
The demo is set up for India, with what an Indian D2C brand needs:
- Prices in rupees with GST split by state, and UPI, cards and netbanking through Razorpay
- PIN code autofill for city and state, and delivery estimates by distance
- COD fees, order limits, phone OTP before COD, and blocking for high return PIN codes
- An RTO risk score on every COD order
- GST tax invoices as PDFs with HSN codes and financial year numbering
- WhatsApp order confirmations, COD confirmation and shipping updates
- Phone OTP sign-in for customers
The admin panel
The store team works in a full admin panel: orders, products and variants, stock by location, customers and groups, promotions and campaigns, price lists, reviews, and settings for regions, shipping and taxes.
Each order shows its payment, fulfilment and activity, with a GST invoice and a WhatsApp message one click away. Fulfil, ship with tracking, mark delivered or mark as RTO from the same screen.
Marketing, edited by the team
The announcement bar, home hero, promo banners, brand story and signup popup are all edited in the admin, so a campaign launch does not wait for a developer. COD rules, GST invoice details, loyalty rewards, email and WhatsApp previews live in the same place.
Found on Google and tracked from day one
Every product page ships structured data for price, stock, ratings and breadcrumbs, with canonical and social tags, a sitemap and robots rules. GA4 and Meta Pixel ecommerce events are wired in, and every order records the UTM source and click id that brought the shopper in, so ad spend can be judged on real orders.
No platform fee
The brand pays once to have the store built. After that there is no monthly plan, no app bills, and no platform taking a share of each order. The only fee per order is the payment gateway's own.
The API follows Medusa's open source commerce API, so a store that grows can move to a larger setup without rebuilding the storefront or the admin.
Shopify vs an owned store, side by side.
What is not in it yet
Returns, exchanges and order edits are next, followed by product CSV import. Staff roles are not included: every admin user can do everything. We say this up front so a brand knows exactly what it gets.
