Delivery: packaged so your team can run with it

In the last week you get everything you need to run the brand yourself: the guidelines, the full asset kit, social templates, and deck assets. A brand only works if your team can apply it without us in the room, so the test of good delivery is simple. The day after handover, you can keep it consistent on your own.

The identity is resolved by now. The risk at this point is a great-looking brand that falls apart the first time someone internal makes a social post or a pitch deck and doesn’t know which colour, which font, or how much space. Delivery closes that gap, turning a set of decisions into something your team can operate.

What you receive

Brand guidelines. How the brand works: logo usage and clear space, exact colour values, the type system, and the tone of voice from positioning. Enough to stay consistent, short enough that people actually read it.

The full asset kit. Every version of the logo and mark, in the formats you’ll need for screen and print, so nobody’s recreating a file at the wrong resolution the night before a deadline.

Social templates. Ready-made layouts for the posts you make constantly, so everyday content stays on-brand without a designer for every image.

Deck assets. The brand applied to slides, so your next pitch or investor deck looks like it came from the same company as everything else.

Why “usable without us” is the standard

We could make delivery a thin handover that keeps you coming back for every asset. We don’t, because a brand you can’t run yourself isn’t much use to you. The aim is a self-sufficient team. If they can produce a consistent post, deck, and page on their own, delivery worked.

That’s also why the guidelines are practical rather than precious. Rules your team can actually follow beat rules that only make sense to a designer. Each one is written to be used by whoever needs it, not filed away and forgotten.

Where it leads

Delivery ends the brand project and often begins the next thing. If a website is next, the positioning, tone, and identity you now hold become its brief, and the website process picks up from here. The brand process overview covers the whole arc, from founder sessions to this.

Quick recall

What is delivery? Week six: guidelines, full asset kit, social templates, and deck assets, packaged for your team.

What’s the standard? Usable without us. If your team can run the brand alone, it worked.

Why practical guidelines? Rules people can follow beat rules only a designer understands.

What comes after? Often a website, briefed by the brand you now hold.
